A portion (approx. 15%) of the proceeds will be donated to the to the “SOBLA Lecture Endowment Fund”. It is our goal that, through these contributions, SOBLA can accumulate funds to finance travel grants for students and postdocs from Latin American countries to attend the Annual Meetings of the Biophysical Society to present and discuss their work and expand their horizons through exposure to excellent work and learn first-hand from researchers from all around the world.
